芙洛拉戶外插花創作系列 4

金色之秋

秋意漸濃，前幾天在散步途中揀拾了兩枝玉米枯株和小段玉米，決定帶回家來插花，選擇屋外有數個高腳花盆的地方，我利用原有的植栽幫忙固定玉米枝，完成主要架構和線條，開始變色的牡丹葉和依舊爭艷的橘色玫瑰和黃色薔薇和茴香的傘狀花勾勒秋天的顏色和日本文化特有侘寂美學

The autumn is getting stronger. I picked up two dead corn plants and small pieces of corn during a walk the other day. I decided to take them home for flower arrangement. I chose a place with several tall flower pots outside the house. I used the original plants to help fix them. The corn branch completes the main structure and lines, the peony leaves that are beginning to change color, and the still-brilliant orange roses, yellow roses and fennel umbels outline the colors ofautumn and present the unique Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetics

My very first flower arrangement done in Manila. I am ashamed to call it Ikebana! It was 2005, a pleasant afternoon at a Japanese lady’s appointment without much idea of ikebana and guidance. Ah, the innocent ages…you knew nothing but wanted everything!

Time flies, I am an Ikebana teacher 15 years later. Ikebana becomes important part of my life, I study this art everyday and enjoy sharing my work and experience to people who likes flowers too. Practice makes you a master, I hope you will also join in this wonderful Ikebana World.

That was an old photo shoot in the 40th Anniversary of I.I. Exhibition in a big shopping mall in Manila Metropolitan, the Philippines 🇵🇭 with my respect Ikebana teacher Mrs. Perez Margot. I started regularly Ikebana lesson from 2006-2007 with her every Saturday morning. With her patience and inspiring guidance, she showed me how a decent ikebanist would be. I worked diligently with her. That was great time in my life during my stay in this beautiful country! With her encouragement, I keep studying Ikebana and exploring the new page of this mysterious art full -passionately.
