Q: What are the requirements for learning Zenshin Ikebana?
A: No conditions are required. Zenshin Ikebana is not only a floral art but also a journey for anyone, anywhere, and anytime to join. Regardless of whether you have other flower arranging experience or not, you are welcome to sign up for Flora’s Online course. In six online courses, you will get preliminary understanding and experience of Zenshin Ikebana.
How to join us? Please make appointments with Teacher Flora and then complete the registration and payment within one week, then we can start the class!
Q: What do I need to prepare?
You need to prepare a pair of Ikebana or gardening scissors, a needle holder ( Kenzan), and a circular water plate with a diameter of 25-28 cm (for practicing basic flower patterns), 4-6 cm depth, and a tall vase with a height of 25-35 cm and a bowl and a rag.
We will use Line or WhatsApp for class and communication, so please download any one of them.
Q: What is the content of this online Ikebana course?
A: We will learn at least five basic flower patterns for Moribana and Nageire, plus creating five free style Ikebana with seasonal fresh flowers.
Q: What are the course fees and payment methods?
A: For six lessons / 12 hours private course is 200 USD/CHF. Banking transaction or credit card via PayPal and Patron accepted.
Q: Apart from courses for beginners, are there other courses for students who prefer corresponding courses?
A: We offer also courses for advanced students which apply the same fee
(200 USD per 6 lessons) and besides monthly consultation for your four works, monthly fee of 25 USD, minimum sign-in for half a year via Patron) thank you for your inquiry.
Q: If I have already signed up the course, but cannot start the class for some reason, can I postpone or refund the fee?
A: One postponement can be accepted, but each course should still be completed within half a year after paying the registration. If it is determined that it cannot be extended, it should be notified at least one week before the scheduled start of the course, and a full refund will be made after deducting the administrative fee of 20 USD/CHF
Q: If the class has already started and I want to change the schedule of appointments , how far in advance should I notify the teacher?
A: If you join the class on time, please notify the teacher 48 hours before the class, the re-schedule is possible, otherwise it will be regarded as absenteeism and no additional class will be hold after the course starts, only one postponement will be accepted and no refund will be given.
